<p>In addition, depending on the level of coverage and type of plan, if any type of surgery is required (e.g., C-Section), the plan can pay a specified dollar amount for that as well (upwards of $700 or more).</p>
<p>Payments are made directly to the policyholder and are tax free.</p>
<p>The only requirement is that the applicant can&#8217;t be pregnant at time of application and can&#8217;t give birth for a certain number of months (e.g., 10 months from application date).</p>
